Minke Whale

We Say

The Kujira Knife series was designed in response to a child's request for a knife with a rounded tip, for a safer way of sharpening pencils. We think these attractive, durable carbon-steel knives make for particularly unique gifts, suited to such tasks as cutting fruit and soft cheeses, or chopping up fresh mint or herbs to add to a delicious cocktail.

Selector's Notes

Kujira means whale in Japanese: the blades come from the Kochi region of Japan - a place visited often by the sea dwelling creatures.
