Ichendorf Sogni d'Oriente glass

Part of Alessandra Baldereschi’s Sogni d'Oriente collection for Ichendorf Milano, the tumbler transforms the simple act of drinking into a moment of warmth and joy. Its colored hue is not mere decoration but an emotional accent, evoking sunrise and optimism for your tableware, turning every sip into a luminous experience.

The story of the collection

“Sogni d’Oriente”, “Dreams of the Orient”, is a collection rooted in the aesthetic codes of eastern tradition, filtered through the precision of Italian craftsmanship. The designer tumbler’s silhouette is minimal, allowing the play of color to take center stage. Handmade from borosilicate glass, it is lightweight yet robust, designed to endure daily use while retaining its sense of refinement.

Color as atmosphere

Yellow radiates optimism. On a breakfast table it catches the morning light, while in the evening it glows softly under artificial illumination. Combined with the blue and pink variants, it creates a dialogue of tones, a chromatic landscape that feels curated yet spontaneous. Ichendorf understands how color alters perception: yellow makes water seem brighter, cocktails more vibrant, juices more inviting. Pink adds a gentle warmth, softening the table setting, enhancing desserts, and turning every drink into a delicate moment of joy. Blue brings calm and depth, emphasizing clarity in beverages, enriching the perception of sparkling water, and giving cocktails a serene elegance.

Function and poetry

Versatile and elegant, the tumbler holds wine, juice, or sparkling water with equal charm. It integrates seamlessly with Ichendorf teapots, WD Lifestyle pitchers and carafes, and the Botanica collection, enriching the ensemble with its chromatic character. Beyond function, it is a collectible piece, part of a broader vision where table objects become fragments of cultural storytelling.

A touch of Baldereschi’s vision

The Sogni d'Oriente tumbler demonstrates Alessandra Baldereschi’s ability to unite subtle design with emotional resonance. It is a glass that does not fade into the background but brightens the scene, reminding us that even the most ordinary act of drinking can be
