Ichendorf Botanica tumbler

The Ichendorf Botanica Tumbler is a poetic interpretation of nature’s beauty, where everyday glassware becomes a stage for delicate blooms. Designed by Alessandra Baldereschi, this piece is part of the Ichendorf Botanica collection, which transforms transparent vessels into miniature gardens. Each tumbler is handmade in borosilicate glass, its thin yet resistant walls allowing light to play around the colorful tulip figurine placed within.

Colors that tell a story

Available in blue, yellow, pink, and lilac tulip versions, this Ichendorf tumbler offers variety while maintaining a unified aesthetic. Each flower figurine is lampworked individually by artisans, ensuring subtle variations that celebrate authenticity and craftsmanship. Dishwasher safe at low temperatures (40 °C/104 °F recommended), the tumbler is both decorative and functional, intended for daily use without losing its artistic essence.

Design by Alessandra Baldereschi

Baldereschi’s vision merges humor, refinement, and storytelling. In this tumbler, the tulip: an ancient symbol of rebirth and beauty, becomes the central motif, suspended inside the glass like a memory of spring. The result is a piece that elevates the act of drinking water, juice, or cocktails into a poetic ritual, bringing nature’s charm directly to the table.

Part of a larger narrative

The Botanica glass collection is a dialogue between natural forms and Italian craftsmanship. This tumbler pairs seamlessly with other elements from the Ichendorf tumblers and glasses collection, as well as with Ichendorf pitchers and jugs and cups and mugs, allowing collectors to build complete, imaginative sets. Whether used individually or as part of a coordinated service, the tumbler adapts to festive occasions and everyday routines alike.

A collectible for design lovers

The Ichendorf Botanica Tumbler is not only a vessel but also a small sculpture, admired by collectors worldwide for its originality and lightness. It stands as a testament to Ichendorf’s mission: to blend traditional lampworking techniques with contemporary aesthetics. Offered as a gift or cherished in one’s own home, it brings the freshness of flowers and the precision of Italian glassmaking into daily life.
